 Welcome to our journey through astrology!

First things first, I think it would be appropriate to give you some hints about who I am and why am I writing on this blog. I'm a 25 year old from Italy, my name is Cristina and I'm a law student at my local university. I am passionate about a lot of things besides my main studies, so I decided the time has come for me to have my own little space where I can be free to talk about topics I've been interested in for many years.

Since I was a little girl, my mum took me to art galleries and museums. She is an incredible artist and I've always spent hours watching her painting. She taught me how to express myself through art and she also shared with me all her knowledge about art history. So that's basically how I fell in love with art in all of its forms and how I became aware that it is the expression of souls, beliefs, visions, feelings and conceptions of people who live/lived in a certain and particular moment, in a specific place on this planet. So what art suggests to me is that the deepest internal dimension of a human being cannot help being influenced by what happens all around it: by time, nature and human phenomena af all kind, for example. 

I soon realized that I couldn't be fully conscious of my internal dimension nor of the one of the people around me, without awareness about these influential factors.

That's why I've been studying ancient mythology. Through stereotyping human relationships it can be almost used as an encyclopedia about human interactions and emotions, with a focus on the internal dimension of the human being.

For the same reason I've been studying history, to switch that focus on the collective side of human actions and interactions, on how they affect a collectivity of people beside the single person.

What about astrology then?

I've been studying astrology since 2013. Astrology is the discipline that studies the interactions between nature and the universe (as an expression of that nature) and human beings. It's the most difficult interaction to understand if we are not fully aware of the functioning mechanism of nature, which is actually pretty impossible to fully spot. But we know some things, science allows us to do so. Astrology in my personal weltanshauung studies the interaction between nature and all aspects of human (but not only human) life: human deepest internal dimension (that expresses itself through art), human one-to-one interactions (that mythology stereotypes) and human collective interactions (that history describes).

That's why I thought it could be interesting to talk about the relathionship between astrology and these other disciplines: because their objects of study are all strictly related.

The U.S.A. Pluto Return

247 years: that is what takes for Pluto to make one full complete cycle, to come back to the same zodiac sign. Luckily, as humans, we don’t live that long to experience “Pluto Return”, even though it may still go through 6-7 houses of our birth charts, during our lives.
